This app is operated by ViSpecs GmbH, Kirchengasse 76, 2722 Weikersdorf am Steinfelde, (hereinafter referred to as "ViSpecs"). The protection of your privacy is particularly important to ViSpecs. ViSpecs therefore observes the statutory data protection regulations and informs you below how your personal data is processed.

What data is processed?
ViSpecs processes the following personal data that you transmit to ViSpecs, for example by providing your details when registering or uploading your spectacle pass:
Name provided;
specified gender;
telephone number provided;
specified year of birth;
Location data (if activated);
Camera and storage data (if used);
Profile picture (if uploaded);
Data and photograph of the spectacle pass (if uploaded);
Results of the optician needs analysis (if created).
There is no obligation to provide us with this data completely, correctly or at all. However, without this data, some functions of the app will not be available to you or only to a limited extent.

For what purposes is the data processed?
ViSpecs processes your personal data for the following purposes:
to make it easier for you to find opticians;
to establish contact between you and opticians
to assess your needs in relation to optician services;
to facilitate the transmission of your eyeglass passport data to your optician
to make it easier for you to change optician.

What is the legal basis for processing?
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is your express consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

To whom is the data transmitted?
We will transfer your personal data to the following recipients for the above-mentioned purposes
IT service providers used by us;
Opticians selected by you.

How long will the data be stored?
We will generally store your data for the duration of your user account. Data will only be stored for longer if this is required by legal obligations.

What are your rights in connection with personal data?
Among other things, you are entitled (1.) to check whether and which personal data we have stored about you and to receive copies of this data, (2.) to request the correction, supplementation or deletion of your personal data that is incorrect or is not processed in accordance with the law, (3.) to request us to restrict the processing of your personal data, and (4. ) in certain circumstances, to object to the processing of your personal data or to withdraw the consent previously given for the processing, (5.) to request data portability, (6.) to know the identity of third parties to whom your personal data is transferred and (7.) to lodge a complaint with the competent authority.
